Introducing Solana Monkey Developers

Solana Monkey Developers are non-purchasable and non-transferable NFTs awarded to graduates of Ackee’s School of Solana.

Since February 2022, Ackee Blockchain Security has trained thousands of developers in Rust and Solana. With less than 3% graduating, completing the program is a prestigious achievement, where only the most skilled and dedicated succeed.

Why Solana Monkey Developers?
Solana Monkey Developers (SMDevs) are inspired by Solana Monkey Business, one of Solana's most beloved NFT collections.

SMDevs have two goals:

  • Help newcomers in the Solana ecosystem adopt an identity that resonates with the community's culture, creating a stronger sense of belonging.
  • Create another incentive for developers to graduate, and in doing so, grow the number of developers shipping Solana programs.

Ackee will continue to issue regular graduation certificate NFTs. Certifications are valuable and better suited for sharing achievements on other platforms like LinkedIn. SMDevs are an addition to our existing certification NFTs.

The SMDevs NFTs are non-purchasable and non-transferable. To receive one, developers must learn, build, and ship on Solana.

Graduates from Seasons 1 to 5 can request and claim an NFT. The claim is not yet open and will be shared on the Solana Monkey Devs Twitter
